San Francisco Trip 9/6/15

My birthday is coming up, and Sergey knows how much I like to go to San Francisco, decided to take us there today. 

It was peaceful and very relaxing day. We enjoyed our drive and endless ocean view. The sand was warm! The weather was awesome! Ocean was so so beautiful, and we just enjoyed God's beautiful creation! We really missed our Rose today, can't wait till she comes home, and we all can have family trips together.

 The water was too cold for swimming, but kids enjoyed running away from waves! They all got wet by the time we were ready to leave :)

Every time we visit San Francisco, we stop by Russian Bakery for some Russian "pirozhki" , "chebureki" and pastries. All of us were so hungry, and I just forgot to take a picture of our meal :) 

 And on our way home we were blessed by a beautiful sunset! God is good!

We met our daughter

We are in Bulgaria, and already met our daughter. What can I say: she is beautiful, smart, funny, active, sweet and awesome little girl! We all know that there was a lot of trauma, and our life will not be always perfect. We did pray a lot as a family, and we know that many people praying for us, and bonding between our family and Rose. God is answering! :)

I will post some pictures of our hotel, and this beautiful city we are in.

In the hotel we are staying has pool. Sergey and Rose spending a lot of time bonding/swimming together. I can't swim and also this pool has too much chlorine.

Our first trip to Bulgaria

Monday July 20st, we received great news, and travel dates! Our dossier was submitted June 30st, we already got travel dates, it was way too fast :) not complaining :) We will be in Bulgaria from August 9th-August 16th.

We been so busy for these  last few days, but can proudly share that tickets are purchased, hotels booked, and we are getting closer to travel. I still have long, long list that needs to be done before we travel, but hopefully in next 2 weeks we can get all those little things done.

Also we had my friend visit us last week with her 4 kids, and my aunt with her family came to visit this week. Between all the visitors, and many things, we are moving forward.

Please pray for Rose, so God prepare her heart to meet and accept us!

We have our verbal referral!

We have verbal referral! Our dossier was submitted on June 29, 2015 and yesterday we heard that we have our verbal referral.  Now we are waiting to have written referral and travel dates for our trip one.
We are exited and scared, but can't wait to meet our daughter. We are adopting an older girl, and she is 12. By the time she will come home, she will be 13. We never adopted a child this age, and she will be the oldest at the time of adoption. We adopted 5,6,7,8,9 year old, but not 12-13 year old. So it will be totally new experience.

Can't wait to share her name and picture  with all of you. :)


Praising our Lord for taking care of our documents, and there was no delays.

Sorry for so many pictures. We have many family/friends who is waiting for pictures :)

Our fire died under heavy rain.

It was an awesome trip, and we really didn't want to go back home. :) We all loved the rain, and kids still talk how they ran, played ball, and just been goofy under the rain. After we got in the house, I wiped them, they took a quick, hot shower, and we all had hot tea. No one got sick....and we made many memories.
