Wishing you Happy New Year!
This was first Christmas and New Year for our family, as family of 9. It was not perfect, and me being sick through all the holidays didn't help at all.
Our family grew by 2 more boys during last year. In past 18 month 4 boys joined our family and they all came with their own issues and trauma. Our holidays were not even close to peaceful, but we are so blessed! We all tried to concentrate on positive and just survive! Today is first day of new year, and it was a little better! We looking forward to this year and waiting to see what God's plan for our family! Love my kids, and just so blessed to have them. Holidays are huge triggers for kids, but its getting better and better.

I think it's beautiful, what you're doing for these children. You must feel, often sometimes, like you will never have a peaceful life or any time for yourselves, but you keep on helping them. May God bless you for your good hearts and persistent love.

Happy New Year! We are having a Christmas Celebration on Monday with our Russian friends. :) Pelmeni, Borscht, salad, stollen, dried fruit and nuts....and Russian Candy from the Russian Deli. :)
